Austin Nichols

Austin Nichols
  Austin Nichols has been an avid rower since 2003 where he learned to row at Georgia Tech under Rob Canavan.  After a successful college career Austin journeyed to Philadelphia to row at PACRA where he spent two years racing pairs and singles.  In the fall of 2009 he made the trip west to Seattle focus on the single at the behest of the Tim McClaren.  Austin has been training at PRC since the March 2010 gaining fitness and speed with an eye on the 2012 Olympic Trials.  Austin is currently a Product Line Manager at ChemPoint.com (an international chemical distributor) in Bellevue and spends his time outside of rowing working, biking, and skiing.  

 

Katherine Robinson

  Began rowing 2003 for Everett Rowing Association.
Varsity rower at Williams College 2005-2009; part of 4 consecutive Div III NCAA Team Titles and 2 indvidual V8+ wins. Team captain in 2009.
Silver medal in LW4x at 2009 U23 World Championships.
7th at 2010 NSR I, 2nd at 2010 NSRII, 2nd at 2010 Sr Trials in the LW4x
2011 Senior World Championships, Bronze medal LW4x-

Hilary Andrus

Hilary Andrus
 

Rowed for Willamette for 4 years, majored in math. Rowed for the US Rowing pre-elite team in 2009 and 2010. Attended Selection camp in 2010. Won Senior 2x at Club Nationals and Senior 4x at Canadian Henley.  Won masters single at NW Masters Regional Championships 2011, second at Duelling over a Grand in Victoria, BC. 2011, and second at BC Champs 2011 in the women's open double.

 

Zach Ellison

Zach Ellison
  Zach started sculling in 2008 and competed that year at the U23 World Championships where he finished 15th. In 2008 Zach finished 2nd at the Elite National Championships in the 1x, and in '09 was 1st in the 1x at the US Rowing National Championships.

 

Elizabeth Bates

Warren North
  Elizabeth learned to row on Turkey Pond at St Paul's School in Concord, NH. She was a member of the Radcliffe Varsity Lightweight team from 2007-2011.  Stared sculling at Vesper Boat Club and made the U23 US team in the lightweight double in 2010.  In 2011 she qualified again as part of the LW2x and placed 6th at the U23 World Championships.  Lizzy graduated from Harvard University in May 2011 and is in her first year training on the Pocock HP team. 

 

Tim Rice

Tim Rice
  Tim first learned to row in the fall of 2007 on the beautiful Genesee river in Rochester, NY.  He was persuaded to join the University of Rochester's team to make friends and the sport was similar to cross country skiing.  His second year of rowing he was in an 8 that rowed in the men's heavyweight 8 grand finals  of the Dad Vail regatta, a first for his school.   In 2009 he was elected team captain.  He moved to Seattle to be closer to family and is looking forward to his first NSR this spring.  Tim received a BS in biomedical engineering. 

 

Lindsey Hochman

Lindsey Hochman
  A graduate from Colgate University, Lindsey is in her 4th year training as a Pocock High Performance athlete. Lindsey is currently employed by Spoken, Inc.
