Learn to Row on Lake Union in Seattle

New to Rowing? Always wanted to Learn?

This is the class for you! This class will introduce the true novice to the beauty of rowing. With a focus on rowing technique, water safety and a general understanding of the sport, participants will use ergometers and rowing shells to learn basic technique in both sweep and sculling. No experience is necessary!

Our maximum capacity of twelve participants per coach allows for the greatest individual coaching in a Learn to Row class in Seattle. 8 classes are only $70!!

Come join us on the water! After you finish our Learn to Row class, you are able to move into our Intermediate program and pursue team rowing or getting out in a single scull. It's up to you!

Q: Why Row?

Q: How do I sign up?
A:
Just fill out the form to the left, email us in the office, call us 206-328-0778, or drop it off at the Center.

Q: How do I pay?
A:
The form at left will direct you to PayPal which will process the payment. If you'd like to pay by check, please mail a check to:

Q: What do I wear to class?
A:
Tight fitting athletic clothing (loose clothing can get caught in the sliding seat), old running shoes and socks, a hat, depending on weather – a raincoat, and a water bottle.
