Director Lacey has served as the PRC Director since 2008, and has been involved with rowing as either an athlete, coach, or administrator for the last 25 years. Prior to his time at Pocock, Lacey was the Director for the Everett Rowing Association, and has coached for the Lakeside School, Green Lake Crew, and the Everett Rowing Association. Office Manager/Varsity Men's Coach Hopper, a graduate of Gonzaga, is new to the Center as of 2010. Hopper has coached at the Collegiate, Junior, and Club level for the last 8 years and is in charge of day to day routines of the PRC office. Mr. Hopper is also the coach for our Jr. Boys team, coming to the PRC after a long and successful coaching career at the Green Lake Crew. info@pocockrowingcenter.org |

Varsity Girls A coach of the Varsity girls team and High Performance team, Steve also offers private coaching. A graduate of Boston College, Coach Dani has coached the PRC Women to a number of medals at the National Championships, coaching the Women's 8+ to a championship in 2006. Most recently Steve has worked for the US National Team, coaching the 2009 Lightweight Women's 4x- to a bronze medal at the World Championships, and is currently coaching the 2011 Lightweight Women's 4x-. Junior Varsity Boys Winship started rowing in 2000 with the Oregon Association of Rowers. During his studies at the University of Oregon, Winship began coaching at Oregon Association of Rowers. In 2008 & 2009 he worked with the novices, moving up to coach the varsity women in 2010 & 2011. In 2011 assumed duties as Head Coach for the OAR program, and coached the women's 4+ to a 9th place finish at the National Chapmionships. damion@pocockrowingcenter.org |

Junior Varsity Boys Pat Sullivan began coaching at the PRC in the Summer of 2011, working with the Varsity Junior boys and the PRC collegiate summer program. He will be working with the junior boys as often as his busy schedule allows this upcoming year. Intermediates Karen has been a tremendous asset for the Pocock Rowing Center over the past few years. Her enthusiasm has created a bridge between learning to row and making rowing part of a daily routine for many PRC members. Get out on the water with Karen and find yourself addicted to the sport!
Karen has been training at the Center as a master for years, and has been heavily influenced by her time spent with Emil Kossev as an athlete. |

Private Lessons Margaret has been rowing since her freshman year in college when she thought she was joining the soccer team but they put everyone in boats instead. She rowed varsity for four years and started again as a masters rower in Seattle, for a grand total of 23 years of rowing, 12 years of coaching and two years as a referee. She has coached both sweep and sculling at clubs all over the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, as well as at the Craftsbury Center in Vermont. |
