END OF SEASON
2020
Usually, at the end of Spring Season, the PRC Junior Team meets for an end of year banquet. A time to reflect on the year we've shared, and to properly honor and send our graduating seniors on their way! As we all know, this year is different. Nonetheless, our seniors DID make it to the end of their high school academic and rowing careers, and we DO intend to celebrate them.

MEMORIES
(ADD YOUR OWN MEMORIES IN THE FORM BELOW!)
Since 2020 Nationals didn't happen, how about a memory from last year's? :) The relentless heat and bugs galore couldn't put a stop to our PRC athletes. Parents kept the buckets of ice & drinks stocked. True teamwork all around!

As a rower myself I know how hard and frustrating the sport can be. The payoff is worth the price and it is evident when looking at the team. I love the way the team supports each other at practices and races. Well done Pocock coaches!

My favorite memory is the bus rides down to regionals, it always felt like summer was just around the corner and the anticipation for getting to show off the speed we’d worked for all season was just awesome.

Every night after practice, over dinner, we'd hear stories about that day. About the boys, the coaches, the girls, the fun, the hard work, the weather, the pain, the grit, the smiles, the anticipation, the respect. Go Pocock!

As a parent, I have such fond memories of all the Brentwood regattas. It is so exciting to watch all the incredible Pocock rowers come down the beautiful course especially when the sun is shining.

My favorite moment of the year was our last day of practice before the shutdown. I let the team make their own lineups, and the boats ended up being surprisingly competitive with one another! It was a lot of fun to see the team's hard work pay off in some epically close practice pieces.
