
ADULT MEMBERSHIP
We are excited to welcome you to the Pocock Rowing Center! PRC is happy and excited to have rowers who started their rowing journey elsewhere join the PRC community.
Members of the Pocock Rowing Center enjoy 24/7 access to our land training facility and locker rooms, and use of Club 1x's, 2x's, and 2-'s for independent rowing.
For an additional fee, members can register for PRC Competitive Teams, Sculling Classes and Private Boat Storage.
Adult Learn to Row and Junior Programs DO NOT require separate membership, just registration for the program itself. You can register for these programs by clicking "Register" in the top right hand corner of the website.
Members are required to have completed a Learn to Row class, taken private lessons or have previous rowing experience before becoming a member.

PRC Teams and Sculling Classes
Members can register for these team practices and classes for an additional fee. Classes and team practices are set up as a drop in model. Members pay for either 1 session per week ($40/month), 2 sessions per week ($80/month), or 3 sessions per week ($90/month) and then can choose, weekly, which class or practice they would like to attend.
Adult Competitive Team - This team is designed for competitive athletes training for national and regional regattas. Athletes will be expected to sweep or scull in all boat classes. Athletes must be invited to join this team.

MST - This class is the traditional Masters Sculling Team. Athletes may row in each of the sculling boats (1x, 2x, 4x). The team competes in local, regional, and national regattas primarily in 1x, 2x, and 4x.

Mixed Team - The Mixed Team is a co-ed team of mixed ages who sweep and scull. They compete at the local and national level and is also the perfect group for newer rowers or those looking to get back into the sport after a hiatus.

Sculling Classes
Sculling 1 - Focus on basic technique and safety in Maas Aeros; appropriate for those who've completed a learn to row session, or learned to row via private lessons.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 7:00-8:30am with Margaret Christopher
Sculling 2 - Builds from the basics covered in S1; session for those working on transitioning from Mass Aeros to racing 1x, or newer to racing 1x, also good level for those with rowing experience but limited sculling or 1x experience.

Sculling 3 - For proficient scullers, working on more advanced technique and increasing volume of rowing, expect around 8-10k of rowing each practice.

Learn to Row - Come learn to row in a fun and compassionate environment fit for all levels of individuals and athletes. Aero’s will be reserved for class participants. Unused Aero’s will be on iCrew for club use. Class runs twice a week for three weeks.

Boat Storage at PRC
PRC offers boat storage to members. There is currently a waitlist for rack space at the boathouse.
